01 Jan 2012: Summadayze, Melbourne

It was a pretty long flight to Australia and upon landing there was no time rest as we made our way over to Melbourne. This was the beginning of a three day tour called Summadayze festival. What an amazing line up! We were sharing the stage this afternoon with Snoop Dog, Calvin Harris, Pendulum, Markus Shultz just to name a few. I’m sure you’ll agree it was pedigree of the highest order. Erick rocked up to the stage and the crowd let out a huge roar. There were so many pretty girls in this crowd. Just take look for yourself at the photos. Our boy Marco from Those Usual Suspects stopped by to say hello. If you don’t know, he made that huge record “walking alone”, with Dirty South! What an amazing performance by Erick and from the looks of this crowd they agree!! Special thanks to all that showed up!

02 Jan 2012: Summadayze, Gold Coast

Next stop Gold Coast and day two of our Summadayze tour. We were playing a bit later in the evening. So we had a few hours to catch some of other performances, and let me tell ya there were some great acts! Calvin Harris was killing it dropping his huge hit “Feel So Close”! The crowd were going CRAZY! I mean they always go crazy for a big record, but this time they were going, CRAZY! They must be playing that on the radio over here, the whole place knew that beat. Next up Subliminal Records’ own Erick Morillo! The energy was thru the roof this evening! Erick was playing so many new records and I just cant get over how the crowd was reacting. Erick was in great spirits! There are quite a few bangers due to drop on Subliminal from Erick, Eddie T, Carl Kennedy, Skin and more. Erick jumped on a security guy’s shoulder and took a picture with this energetic crowd! It was so funny! Erick even played a bootleg of Adele smash hit “Someone Like You” The crowd held their lighters in the air. What a sight and what an amazing way to end the evening. Not like me, but I was emotional man. People need this kind of healing in their lives. Only good vibrations from the music, man.

03 Jan 2012: Summadayze, Perth

Two down and one to go. I was feeling pretty good. Touring can take a lot of energy out of you, with not much sleeping and traveling almost constantly, but Australia has good warm energy this time of year. We made our way to Perth and this was the conclusion to this amazing Summadayze tour. As I walked unto the stage, Markus Shultz had the crowd going in a frenzy! He passed the reigns over to Erick Morillo who just smashed it! Erick played his big record “Elephant”, the new joint with UK singer Alexandra Burke, keep your ears open for this record. I can’t believe that I even saw the Colombian flag in the audience! I wonder if it’s the same flag in all the shows? LOL. It sure does get around. Erick has some loyal fans all over the world. My boy Detroit house hustler Seth Troxler stopped by to say hello and take a peak at the madness! Have to say Erick was in great spirits again and he showed this crowd 2012 will be a very big year for Subliminal! Special thanks to Brett, Emily and the whole entire family of Future Entertainment for putting together one heck of a festival! Austraaaaaaaaaaliiiia, we cant wait to be back!!!!!!!! Love you.

03 Dec 2011: Marquee, Las Vegas

We crossed America and headed out west to Sin City, Las Vegas. Marquee has become one of my most favorite places in America; it boasts huge sound, the most unreal LED wall and THE hottest ladies on the planet. This was Erick’s last night at Marquee this year so I knew it was on like Donkey Kong! Erick was escorted to the DJ booth and he looked like a prized fighter. He had his game face on this evening, he leaned over to me and said, “You ready?” It may be a cliché but Erick saved his best for his last set at Marquee this year. He just rocked it out in true Erick Morillo fashion. I can’t say it enough but no one can touch Erick when he’s on fire. He told a great story and took this crowd through some peaks and valleys. I will be counting the days till we return in March. Special thanks to Jason Straus, Morgan Deanne and the entire Marquee staff and all the fans for making this year such a memorable one!!!

09 Dec 2011: Shampoo, Philadelphia PA

This was my first time in the city of brotherly love, so I was looking forward to see the house scene in Philly. We made our way from NYC by Helicopter, flying high above the city – Erick is such a rock star! We entered the DJ booth to see a dance floor that was rammed, jammed, packed! Erick was bouncing with anticipation to take over the decks. He dropped his new bomb “Elephant”, yo, this record is going to be HUUUUGE! I’m still getting chills from the crowd’s reaction. Erick dropped every new record from his production on Sympho Nympho and if you don’t know that’s Erick Morillo, Harry Romero and Jose Nunez, well, you do now! Wow! What an amazing night ofmusic and an evening I will not forget. A special thanks to Alex Martini and the entire staff at Shampoo.

10 Dec 2011: Pacha, New York

Six years ago Pacha opened its doors in New York City, a city where nightlife is tough, just to stay open for one year is an eternity. Pacha has surpassed all the naysayers that it would never last. This was the last installment of six weeks of some the most amazing music in one building. What better way to cap off this six-year celebration with the manhimself Erick Morillo. I walked into the club to find this joint rammed with some of New York’s most elite. Carl Kennedy was warming up the decks very nicely, letting this New York crowd marinate for the explosion to come. Erick walked into the DJ booth to hear a huge roar from his loyal fans. I felt like I was at Pacha, Ibiza. So many of our friends stopped by to say hello including Danny Whittle, Mark Netto, James Fowell, Grand Master Flash, Sean Merriman and our very own Miss Helen Coates, Erick’s agent. This was one night that will not be forgotten any time soon. What more can one ask for – great music and a vibe that only Pacha, New York brings to the floor.

15 Dec 2011: Music Box, Los Angeles

As we made our way out west, this was our first time playing at Music Box, so I was very excited to see what all hype was all about. As I approached the venue all you can see was a huge line outside and let me notfail to mention it was only Thursday. Erick made his entrance as only he knows how. Of course he was all smiles and tonight there was a big surprise. Our friend Val / Owner of V-Moda headphones unveiled the Erick Morillo one of akind headphones. These headphones boast a 24 carat gold laser cut Subliminal logo. Wow! All I can say is take a look for yourself! We had the lovely Mexican singer Paulina Rubio stop by and say hello and of course all of the most sexiest women in L.A. Special thanks to my man Kolbi for bringing us out here and of course all the fans who came out to support!

30 Dec 2011: Rhythm & Vines, New Zealand

We made our way around the world to New Zealand. More than 25,000 people turned up for the opening night of R&V. This is New Zealand’s premier New Year event, which makes it the biggest festival since its inception, nine years ago. Erick had the crowd in rock mode when he took the stage! Thousands swarmed to the Vines stage to show their love for Erick Morillo. This was such a great a vibe from beginning to end; so many eager fans pushed their way to the front of the stage, to get a better view of their hero. I would like to say thank you to New Zealand for showing us so much love and we look forward to coming back next year!

31 Dec 2011: Ivy, Sydney Australia

No time to waste, we hopped on a flight and made our way to Sydney, Australia. Sydney was in full swing with their preparation to bring in the New Year. Streets were closed and the city was in total party mode. The Ivy is known for bringing in some of the best acts and tonight would be no different! Erick was playing an early set to bring in the New Year. It was more of an intimate gathering by the pool over looking all of Sydney. Some of the hottest women were here and all I can say “I want to marry an Australian woman”! 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! Erick passed the reigns over to the best-dressed DJ in this game Dimitri from Paris!

The party moved downstairs to the courtyard, where the real party was. Erick jumped on stage to wish everyone a Happy New Year and the crowd went into a frenzy! I can’t describe the feeling you get when you see a room full of people just raving and loving life, all in the zone getting down together. All I can say is, I love my job, and I love Sydney for all the great moments we shared that night. Special thanks to the Ivy who brought us here and to our loving fans!

2011 started with a big BANG this year! It was the opening of the brand new day & night super club Marquee in Las Vegas. Anyone who’s been here will know what I’m talking about. This was a totally off the wall party, Erick was chatting with Jennifer Lopez just before his set, while Jay-Z was freestyling on the mic bigging up Coldplay, who also performed. When Erick was getting right down to party time in his set, Diddy came down to the booth to party too. This was an a-list star-studded night to ring in 2011.

Brazil Tour

Only a matter of weeks after the mammoth Marquee party it was the first Brazilian tour of 2011. Five cities in four days with the private jet on stand-by to take the crew from city to city. The tour started in sunny Rio at exclusive venue the Jockey Club. There were so many hot Brazilian women there with such a good vibe, it was hard for the crew to pull themselves away, but they had to leave as the jet was waiting to fly to party number two on day one, at Brasilia. This was a much smaller club, nevertheless, the people had just as much passion and energy. Erick says “Wow, what an awesome night, I’m shattered and need to get some rest before Recife tomorrow.” It was raining in Recife but that didn’t stop play. Recife partied till the sun came up, and it all happened in a boat yard! Such a cool venue. Next up was a trip the humid jungle-like atmosphere of Florianopolis and the huge Creamfields festival. The energy here was insane! There must have been sixty thousand people all going mental to Erick’s set. Steve Angello’s brother AN21 was in town and stopped by to get down. This was a truly awesome gig. The final gig of the tour was in Sao Paulo at new club Cafe de la Musique. This is where the beautiful people of Sao Paulo come to party. However, don’t just take our word for it, check the video, you won’t be disappointed.

Miami – Birthday party @ LIV & Ultra Music Festival

Birthday parties are always special, and Erick’s 40th was something very special. To DJ all night on your own birthday shows your passion for the music and bringing the party to the people. The guest list looked more like it belonged to the Grammys with A Listers like Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, Diddy, Craig David, Naomi Campbell, Caprice and Felix da Housecat amongst others turning up. Will, Diddy and Craig all took to the mic and rapped and sang to the music. Craig David sang his collaboration track with Erick ‘Fly Away’, LIV didn’t know what hit them. There was even a giant cake brought to the middle of the dance floor and out popped a beautiful woman wearing a tiara and happy birthday sash. The floor was full till daybreak! Erick rocked it!

The party did not stop there! The very next day Erick would rock out in front 50,000 people at the Ultra Music Festival. There was a live element added to the show with Shawnee Taylor, Rachel Starr and Jessica Sutta formerly of The Pussycat Dolls all singing live. The Ultra crowd were loving it. Not only that, Diddy decided to crash the party and take to the stage for an impromptu performance of gigantic proportions! The crowd were going wild! Erick played a rocking super tight set with bomb after bomb, but Diddy stole the show here. Erick was only too glad to share the stage with his superstar buddy.

Ibiza 2011 @ Pacha

Many more gigs later and the summer descends before there’s hardly time to catch a breath. The Ibiza parties at Pacha were even busier than 2010! Chuckie opened with Erick and it was the place to play for the hardcore clubbers and househeads. The people who are serious about their music and clubbing make it out for the opening parties. Chuckie plays a more housey set than his usual progressive/electro vibe then Erick follows and literally blows the roof off. One of the highlights of the season for Erick was having New York DJ legend and the DJs DJ, Danny Tenaglia. It was the first time Danny had played at a Subliminal night at Pacha and boy did he bring his super cool underground New York flavour to the club, the dance floor was jam packed right to the end of the night!, always the sign of a great DJ to keep the floor busy till the lights come up. Erick let Danny close the night on this historic occasion. The closing party was just as busy as the opening party, Shawnee Taylor sung an unbelievable PA and she rightly was the star of the show. Erick and Harry Choo Choo also played a blinder which was a fitting conclusion to a super successful season on the white isle. Again, don’t take our word for it, we have video evidence.

As well as all the amazing parties and festivals throughout 2011 Erick has been very busy in the studio too. I know what you’re thinking, where does he get the time right? One of the highlights this year is new project SYMPHO NYMPHO, a coming together of house production legends Erick, Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero and Jose Nunez. If that wasn’t enough they have an unbelievable line-up of guest performers on their album dropping March 2012. It features Wyclef Jean, Segarra, Pitbull, Busta Rhymes, Jessica Sutta and Dizzee Rascal. It’s packed with a ton of stars! February sees hot new single with UK singing star Alexandra Burke called’ Elephant’ and Erick teams up with Eddie Thoneick again with new track ‘If This Ain’t Love’ featuring Skin of Skunk Anansie. Shawnee Taylor has a new single called ‘Colours’ coming in 2012, Erick says, “This is a departure for Shawnee. It’s a whole new sound and people are really going to be blown away it. You’re going to hear Shawnee like you’ve never heard her before.” So a lot to look forward to then.

Dance music blows up in the US of A!

These new releases coincide with the massive dance movement in America right now. Historically, U.S. DJs have mostly travelled to Europe to play DJ gigs. Their careers have mostly been built on the other side of the pond. However, now it’s the European DJs coming to America for regular slots like Tiesto, Steve Angello and Swedish House Mafia . The Swedes recently turned the iconic Madison Square Gardens into a nightclub, and even followed it up with a sell-out after party at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. This is unheard of in recent times and will set a precedent for other acts to follow. Even the Canadians like Deadmau5 are selling out huge shows five nights in a row. Kaskade is now producing more progressive music and taking Vegas by storm. Erick says “these are really exciting times for dance music in America. 2012 is going to be even bigger than 2011. What the Swedes have done at MSG, and festivals like Ultra, EDC and Burning Man, people in America are going dance music crazy! It feels great. It’s so exciting.”

Personal Life – A time to chill

After working so hard through 2011 Erick is going to take a well-deserved week vacation in the sunshine paradise of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. It would be rude to go alone, so he’s taking no less than nineteen Morillo’s with him! “I’m taking my whole family away with me for Christmas. There will be nineteen Morillo’s on the scene, and it’s going to be like the Olympics every day, hahaha”. Well it’s hats off and swimming shorts on for Erick as we wish him well for the holiday period. And if what we’ve heard thus far about 2012 is anything to go by, 2012 is going to be even bigger than 2011.

19 Nov 2011: Oro, Punta Cana Dominican Republic

This was our first time here in Punta Cana and this was the grand opening of Oro. As you can imagine we were very pleased to get this party started! Arriving at the venue I could not help to see so many familiar faces. Everyone we know on the club scene from LA, Miami and Las Vegas was in the house. This venue boasted a huge LED wall an amazing Funktion One sound system and one of the best lighting shows I’ve seen to date. Erick rocked up to the dj booth to find himself in a room eager to explode! Erick smashed this set playing some of his own production and from the crowds reaction it was very well received. I say it all the time Erick feeds off the energy of all his friends in the dj booth and tonight was no exception. This was amazing night from beginning to end. I look forward in returning and special thanks David Grutman and his entire team. You guys keep throwing some of the best parties and now you can add Oro, Punta Cana to your resume.

23 Nov 2011: Pacha, NYC

In the club world this date marks as one of busiest nights other than NYE. No matter what, this night had EPIC written all over it. Pacha was billing this party as Erick Morillo Vs Danny Tenaglia! Wow two house music legends underneath one roof. I can’t begin to tell you how packed Pacha was by midnight. I mean the lines of clubbers outside were wrapped around the corner. I walked into the dj booth to find Cevin Fisher warming up the dance floor very nicely. Before you knew it there was a blackout and Erick’s intro began. The crowd went into a frenzy when they saw Erick. We gave Pacha a special treat this evening. Shawnee Taylor stopped by and she graced us all with her beautiful voice. She sang Stronger and Live Your Life. This was going to be a night to remember. Erick played an awesome set but the night was still young. Next up house legend and New York’s own Danny T! I thought this roof was going to blow. Danny started his set with some strong hits and true to Danny form, took it old school. Danny T told a story tonight that New York City will be talking about for weeks to come. So many people stopped by to say hello, here’s a few- Boris, Lord, Jason Strauss, Max Vangeli, Victor Calderon and of course all the lovely ladies, that some how still get passed me every time. Special thanks to Eddie, Dean and Rob Fernandez and of course all the fans that stayed till the end.

26 Nov 2011: LIV, Miami Beach FL

No better place to come and end an amazing week of parties. We headed back down South to Miami. LIV has now been nominated best club in the USA. All I can say is this place brings out the best of Erick and tonight would be no different! As I approached the club I could not believe how many people were outside waiting to get in. I mean it was only 11 pm in the evening. Erick made his entrance to find the DJ booth packed with all his friends and the hottest women in Miami. Erick started his set with a bang and the night would continue like this bomb after bomb! Our boy Chuckie stopped by and what a treat the fans got this evening. Erick and Chuckie went back to back for the last hour or so. This was a treat to watch and night to remember for ages! Special thanks to David Grutman, the entire LIV family and of course all the fans. See you all soon!

10 Nov 2011: Praia, Rio De Janeiro

Braaaaazzziiiiiilllll!!! After a long hiatus and definitely long overdue, we were back to one of our favourite continents in the world, South America. Where the people are as passionate as they are beautiful. Rio is a place that really attracts the beautiful people, which seemed to be everywhere. This was our first time at this venue, so we amped to get our tour in motion. I walked into the club to find myself in a dark underground scene as Erick was escorted into the DJ booth. As always the Brazilian fans went bonkers. Erick was dropping bomb after bomb and the dance floor was insane. This was a great night with some small technical issues, but overall it was great start to our 5 gig tour. Roll on the next…

11 Nov 2011: Gran Stella Maris, Salvador

Day 2 of our tour brings us to a hotel resort, boasting a weekend electronic music festival. Who else to bring to this hotel crashing down but yours truly Erick Morillo. This place has a HUGE sound system, amazing lighting show and a LED wall that showcased our video intro in grand form. Erick was escorted inside like a prized fighter, ready to tear the walls down. He started his set with an upper cut to the head with underground monster “Ministers De La Funk – Gravy” out on Subliminal. The crowd went insane and this was the scene all night. Special thanks to all that showed up. Braaaaazzzziiillll!!!

12 Nov 2011: Beach Club Bahai, Trancoso

We reached the home stretch of our tour. Day 3 brings us smack into the jungle. This was our first time here and I was engaged by the scenery. We travelled thru the jungle to find ourselves in a beautiful beach club. Erick arrived early to be greeted by our boy Pete Tha Zouke and Didio who was the organiser of this amazing party. Before you blinked your eyes, Erick was on the decks. He played a sexy set to scores of amazingly hot sexy brazilian women. I can’t begin to tell how many times I fell in love this night. Erick played for hours and it seemed like the night passed in minutes. Time always goes by quick when you’re having fun but this was crazy. I’m sure this crowd will remember the party for months to come.

13 Nov 2011: Green Valley, Santa Catarina

This is by far my most favorite venue in the world! It boasts a huge stage over looking a dance floor packed with some the most enthusiastic fans. I mean the fans here have this huge energy, they really know how to party hard. There’s a great sound system and some of the best lighting money can buy.  

Erick rocked up to the stage eager to get his night started. He leaned over to me and said “Manny you ready?” and BOOM! he dropped his first track! I’m still getting goosebumps from the memories of the crowd jumping up and down! This place was packed with the hottest and most sexiest women alive, I’m not even joking. The best of all is they were blowing me kisses. I can’t wait to return again and special thanks to all that showed up. Braaaazzziiiiiillll!!!!

14 Nov 2011: Sirena, Sao Paulo

In my opinion this was the best party of the tour! Yes, even topped Green Valley, but this is a different animal. I’ve been here before and it still has that underground feeling. There was a traffic jam at least a mile long! All to see their hero, Erick Morillo. Erick was escorted into the DJ booth, to find himself in a room packed with his most loyal fans. A truly amazing selection of music this evening and Erick just fed off that Brazilian energy. I have to say again these smaller venues are what I crave for. Brazil witnessed yet again why he is considered the BEST.

Erick has been thoroughly enjoying being back in North America after his summer in Ibiza, playing multiple gigs around the country, including this phenomenal party at GLO in Long Island.

It was one of the key highlights of a huge week of parties around Halloween weekend and beyond. Here’s the video from that wild and steamy dancefloor session – pure party madness!

No sooner has his amazing 5-night Tour of Brazil finished than Erick Morillo is gearing up for another massive event on his global calendar.

On Friday (18th Nov) he’ll become the first DJ to headline the brand new Oro Nightclub, which opens it’s opulent doors for the first time at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The DR loves Erick and this new venue – aimed to rival the likes of LIV and Arkadia (it’s owned by the same people) – will provide an instant home from home in this Caribbean paradise for the island’s favourite DJ son!

Oro boasts over 10,000 square feet of space across two levels and features intelligent lighting, Funktion One sound, a signature two-story LED wall featuring 300+ screens and the first ever infinity edge bar. This Thanksgiving Eve (Wed 23rd Nov) Erick plays an extra special party at the club he co-owns, Pacha in New York City.

For one night only, we are reuniting the DJ double bill that lit up Pacha Ibiza back in August, as Erick is joined by NYC living legend Danny Tenaglia. Also on the bill is the mighty Cevin Fisher, ensuring a night of house music that everyone will want to attend, but only the lucky few can.

29 Oct: Back In Black, Miami

This event was sold out for weeks with a massive buzz on the social networks. Erick Morillo, Sebastian Ingrosso and Bob Sinclair all playing under one huge tent. When I arrived I was greeted by my boy Patrick M who was warming up the giant dancefloor. This place was absolutely packed, with some of the most outrageous Halloween costumes on display. Erick arrived all smiles, and why not?! The crowd went into a frenzy when they saw him.

Then the lights were blacked out and Erick’s intro blasted out and it sounded sick! BOOM! Erick started his set playing some of the hottest tracks out there back to back. I have to admit Erick has been on fire with at all our US dates since Ibiza. He even dropped Calvin Harris big hit ‘So Close To You”, to which the crowd went bananas. Amazing scenes.

We had a few notables on stage with us up on the platform. Our main man David Grutman (owner of LIV) was in attendance, as was DJ/producer Armand Pena and some of the hottest women in Miami. This was an amazing show and many thanks to the true professionals at Go Big Productions. Special thanks to Alex Omes, Emi, Louis, Omar and of course all the loving fans!

29 Oct: Halloween at The Roosevelt Hotel, Los Angeles Cali

No time to rest, as we hopped into a plane. Next stop LA – two parties all in one day! As we arrived to LA the streets were totally packed. Everyone was out celebrating Halloween and in costume. I arrived to the show to be greeted by our own Helen Coates. She always makes me smile and is calming like a cup of tea. No time to chat as I needed to get Erick’s set-up ready in less than 10 minutes. Erick arrived in the booth to be greeted by the sight of some of the creepiest and scariest fans celebrating Halloween in style.

Erick showed yet again that he is the master. Everyone was in great spirits for this special party and we had the usual top notch selection of his famous fans stop by to say hello, from Paris Hilton to supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio. This was a great party from start to finish! Special thanks Jordan, Marc, Auggie and all the fans that showed off their amazing costumes!

30 Oct: Treasure Island, San Francisco, Cali

We were very excited to be in San Francisco. We always hear how much the fans love Erick here. And this venue was full to bursting with some of best Halloween costumes I had seen all weekend. What can I say, San Fran had it going on! Erick arrived to find himself in a room full of dancing ghosts and goblins. He rocked the house again, and you can see how he feeds off all the energy in the room. This was an exciting evening with some of the best people I have worked with. Special thanks to Toby and his amazing team. You guys did a great job getting the night ready. Let’s not forget the San Fran fans who certainly showed all their love!

04 Nov: Glo, Westbury NY

This was billed as ‘the return of Erick Morillo’. If you all don’t know, this is one of my favorite venues in the United States. Big room, big sound and a magnet for the hottest girls in NY. When I arrive everyone in the room was wearing Erick Morillo sunglasses compliments of Glo. Girls were striking a pose and they looked amazing. Antranig was warming up the dancefloor very nicely.

Erick arrived in the usual high spirits and he just smacked this cub up, down and sideways with some of the freshest tracks. Erick keeps amazing me with how diverse he can be. We had Eddie Dean, Rob Fernandez, both from Pacha NYC, plus song writer Duane Harden in the house.

05 Nov: Marquee, Las Vegas

We arrived in Las Vegas to do our monthly residency at Marquee. It’s always a treat to come to Vegas and tonight was no exception. As I’ve said before, Marquee keeps getting better and better. I arrived a bit early to hear my boy Miguel Ortiz play. I must say he did an amazing job. Erick was escorted to the stage through the melee to find himself in front of a room eager to explode! Erick played another great set at Marquee. Word has it that the top 3 parties so far this year at this amazing club have all been performed by Erick Morillo. Wow, that is saying something! The ladies were looking sexy as always. Special thanks to all that showed up and of course Morgan, Jason Strauss and his amazing team at Marquee. See you all again very soon.

Brazil loves Erick… and Erick loves Brazil! With some of the wildest parties, venues and clubbers in the world, there’s nothing quite like the Brazilian nightlife experience. And that means it’s the perfect playground for a DJ who knows how to get the crowd into the palm of his hand every time.

Erick Morillo returns to rock a selection of the biggest and best clubs in this famous party nation this month, with 5 consecutive nights taking him from the beach to the forest to the city.

It kicks off in Rio with a return to Praia Club on the 11th Nov, followed by a trip to headline at the Salvador Weekend on the 12th. Then it’s on to another beach paradise in the form of Bahia Bonita Beach Club for the Trancoso Weekend on Sunday 13th. No tour of Brazil would be complete without a trip to Green Valley (Mon 14th) and finally the mighty Sirena in Sao Paolo on Tues 15th.

“I can’t wait to play in Brazil again,” says Erick. “It’s always one of the highlights of my year and this Tour looks like it’s going to be especially good. I love the country’s people and all the amazing clubs, so let’s party Brazil!”

15 Oct – Club 466, West Orange, NJ

We were already very excited to be in New Jersey and was our first time here at Club 466 too. I could not wait to see what everyone was talking about and we got into venue to be WOWED! This club was absolutely amazing. High ceiling, big sound system and a great lighting show.

This place was packed by 11pm and let me mention it packed about 1,000 people. Erick walked into the DJ booth to be greeted by some of his most beloved friends. Rob Fernandez, Eddie Dean (Owner of Pacha NYC) just to name a few. Erick rocked the house as he has been doing all summer long. This was a 2-hour set or as we like to call it a quickie! Special thanks to all that showed up. See you all at Pacha NYC in 30mins!

15 Oct – Pacha, NYC

As we crossed the Hudson River via the Lincoln Tunnel we had no time rest, as all of New York was waiting for Erick at Pacha NYC. The lines were around the corner to welcome their hometown hero Erick Morillo. I walked into the DJ booth our very own Antranig was completely rocking the dance floor.

Without hesitation the lights were blacked out and Erick’s massive intro took place. BOOM! Erick started to rock the house! Erick was great spirits his whole entire family was in attendance! The crowd was so amped up, hands were in the air, heads were bopping. Girls were on top of their guys shoulders to get a better peak of Erick.

We had a few notables in the booth tonight including Cevin Fisher, Mark Alston, A21, Sebjak, A-Trak and my boy Carl Kennedy. Erick played an amazing set and one the NYC faithful will not forget. He played till 10:30am, so those who stayed till the end got a very special treat. Some of the best house music! See you all soon back in the City.

Oh my gosh, here we go for one final blast of the summer in Ibiza. Check out the scenes from our Closing Party at the end of last month, starting with Erick playing a wild sunset pre-party at the legendary Cafe Mambo, before heading over to Pacha where he, Harry Choo Choo Romero and ‘the voice of house music’, Shawnee Taylor, wow the crowds one more time.

Featuring some of the latest Subliminal Records releases plus commentary from Erick, some very excited clubbers and also highlights from the summer including Danny Tenaglia and Chuckie, this is a fitting way to sign off another amazing season at Pacha Ibiza.

If you were there anytime this summer, this one’s for you! See you all next year…

06 Oct – LIV, Miami Fl

After a long hiatus in Ibiza, hometown hero Erick Morillo was going to be ripping up the dancefloor all night long at Miami’s mighty LIV club to celebrate his return. This party was sold out for weeks and for good cause. Everyone knew this night was a dead cert to be wild!

The club looked absolutely amazing with our Subliminal logos hung over the dancefloor. LIV is right up there as one of the sexiest clubs in America and the DJ booth was already packed with a selection of the hottest women in Miami when Erick arrived. He was greeted by owner David Grutman and then we were off…

This was an amazing night of music and the energy was through the roof. You could tell Miami has missed Erick… and you can tell Erick missed Miami. He gave them a little bit of everything they wanted to hear and they went nuts for him.

So many friends stopped by to say hello, it was a whirlwind of good people and good times. I must admit this was one of our best parties ever at LIV (and there have been a few!) and let me not fail to mention it was only Thursday! Special thanks to David Grutman, Biz, Kristine, the whole entire family at LIV and of course YOU the hometown fans! See you very soon…

08 Oct – Marquee, Las Vegas

We hopped on to a plane and headed west to our monthly residency at Marquee. Erick has been smashing his sets here in Las Vegas and this one was coming off the back of an amazing performance at Tao back in September, so the city was hyped. This night would be nothing less than spectacular and when I walked in all I can say it that the place was pumping!

Before you knew it, our Erick Morillo intro – that has had people in trance all summer in Europe –started playing and BOOM Erick Morillo was ‘in the house’. Erick has been showing Vegas why he is the godfather who started it all here. DJ culture has exploded in LV but who knows what would have happened if it wasn’t for our man Morillo?

Again, some of the hottest women came to say hello. I just don’t know where they come from but I’m glad I’m always there to greet them! Special thanks to Jason Straus, Morgan Deane, the entire family at Marquee and of course all the fans that support Erick at this amazing residency.

Erick himself is extremely disappointed and has issued the following message:

“For those of you that had bought tickets expecting to see me at Monster Massive, what can I say, I think this is a blow for us all! I’d heard so many great things about the Monster Massive shows and was really looking forward to being a part of this Halloween extravaganza. So to hear that we now have to cancel is a big upset to me. These decisions are not made lightly and apologies to all those that had made plans. I hope to see you all very soon”.

This might have been the summer of ‘Stronger’ (Erick’s huge track with Eddie Thoneick and Shawnee Taylor), but did you know he’s also been behind some of this summer’s other key anthems too, alongside long-term production partners Jose Nunez and Harry Choo Choo Romero?

In The Screen has been the most high profile of these projects to date, dropping the massive ‘We Are The Night’ on an unsuspecting world in time for a live debut at the Ultra festival during Miami Music Week.

“That show at Ultra was a great start,” smiles Erick “and since then we’ve been busy in the studio with Craig David [for the popular Rony Seikaly rework ‘Fly Away’], and on forthcoming singles with Sneaky Sound System and Rosin Murphy from Moloko.”

If In The Screen is an outlet for Erick and the boys “sexy” music, then Lights Out is at the other end of the spectrum.

“I’d describe it as our underground, dirty, noisy, dubbsteppy vibe,” says Erick. “Out little leftfield thing if you will.”

The ballbusting sound of ‘Lasers’ kicked this production project into play this summer, slaying dancefloors in Ibiza and worldwide.

As for what’s next, “We’re plotting at the moment, but stay tuned for more Lights Out bombs,” hints Erick.

The most recent debut for the trio has been as Sympho Nympho, probably the biggest project of the lot.

“As a collective that works with key other artists, were called that,” explains Erick. “we get really creative with the keybords as a team. It’s a more commercial sound, and the tracks we’ve been working on are going to blow everyone away.”

That means more work remixing Craig David, tasty sounding collabs with Buster Rhymes, Dizzie Rascal, Pussycat Dolls’ Jessica Sutta and Pitbull.

“We’re putting together a full album and doing lots of remixes too,” says Erick.

Their first is a brand new version of Erick’s own hit ‘Stronger’, featuring plenty of drama plus a bouncing bassline to add a fresh angle new to the track for end of summer.

So why have these three house music heroes become so energise in the studio to come up with such a range of different styles and exciting collaborations?

“Dance music is popping in the USA right now,” says Erick. “The musical pendulum has swung and EDM is cool. We gotta nurture it.”

With a big Subliminal Experience stage show (first premiered during that ‘We Are The Night’ performance at Ultra) waiting to return when the Sympho Nympho LP drops and more music coming over the coming weeks (look out for the Sympho Nympho mix of Ministers de la Funk’s ‘Gravy’ and Erick and Eddie’s eagerly awaited track featuring Skin from Skunk Anansie next month), it’s a prolific time for Erick and his cohorts.

“Ultimately we’re just what we do,” concludes Erick. “We put our heads down, go underground and make solid house music.”

This was our second to last party on the island and the buzz about it was something special. Tonight’s guest Felix Da Housecat started things of right by appearing at our Café Mambo pre-party – his first time playing at the famous sunset bar in over 6 years!

The party mood continued at Pacha from the word go as our local resident Andy Baxter has been warming up the dancefloor very nicely all summer long and he was on top form. Next up was Subliminal’s own Jose Nunez. If you haven’t heard of his Sympho Nympho project with Erick Morillo and Harry Choo Choo Romero yet then you soon well. Amazing new music that Jose played in an awesome set alongside numerous Subliminal hits and a few treats I can’t even speak of yet.

Chicago’s Felix Da Housecat was itching to play for us tonight and his tough blend of electro funk house music was well received. I really hope we can have him back again in 2012. Head honcho Erick closed the night, playing through until gone 7am. All summer long he has been giving fans a bit of old, new and something in between. I think this performance ranks as one of his top 5 this summer. With only one fiesta left, everyone in Ibiza is excited about what’s going on at Subliminal Invasion.

23 Sep – Nachresidenze, Germany

I’m always excited to head over to Germany and tonight would be no different. This was our first time at this particular venue, so I was keen to check it out. When I walked in it had a big sound, a tall ceiling and an amazing light show all going off. Erick was escorted to the DJ booth to find himself surrounded by some of the hottest girls I’ve seen in a while. This place had a very mixed crowd which tells me Erick’s sound is touching all ages. Again he smashed it, with everyone begging for “one more song! one more song!” at the end.

24 Sep – Vox club, Modena, Italy

This was another first – our first time in this region. This venue was in a remote location. Even with that being said, it did not stop all the faithful fans from packing the place out! As always when Erick enter a club here, the chant “Erick Morillo smack smack! Erick Morillo smack smack smack!” It’s like clockwork here in Italy. They just can’t get enough of him! Erick duly amazed everyone with his selection of music and we could not get enough of the energy we saw this evening. It’s always a treat to come to Italy. We love you right back!

25 Sep – Opium Mar, Barcelona Spain

I don’t normally mention hotels on our travels but this is one time I will. The W Hotel in Barcelona has a suite called the Wow Suite and let me tell you… it lives up to every bit of that word! Say no more.
This was yet another first time at a venue. I guess this weekend should be called a first class! What more can you say about a venue next to a beach, open air and a room filled with sexy Spanish people in love with their hero? Erick was so focused tonight and the crowd was so energetic. We even had our boy Pete Tha Zouk in the house and I can’t say enough about Paty and her crew, they are some of the best people to work with. I’m going to miss you all this winter!

28 Sep 2011 – Pacha, Ibiza

Last but certainly not least, the time had come for our Closing party. We had to send an amazing summer off is suitable style. A summer that saw Chuckie kill it at the grand opening, Shawnee amaze Ibiza with her voice, Sneaky Sound System bring a new sound all the way from Australia, Danny Tenaglia just rip up the dance floor… So many memories I can’t even begin, and tonight would be no different.

Harry Romero played an awesome set that proves Subliminal will never die, we’re firmly at the forefront of house music now even more than ever! Shawnee sang her hit ‘Stronger’ which was by far her best live show of the summer. Erick Morillo? Well you know what you’re getting – a world class soundtrack to a night the crowd will never forget. I’m sad to call this the closing party, but the summer has proved many things, none more than confirming once more that Erick Morillo is a bona fide legend.

Thanks to each and every one of you who supported out night. We hope you had a blast. To all you girls that gave me headaches, I love you all. Without you I would have nothing to do! To my team, Helen, Caroline and Javier, it was an honour to work with you all. I can’t wait till we return to Ibiza next year!

After 16 weeks of weekly Wednesday nights in Ibiza and countless other gigs across Europe and beyond, Erick returns to his Miami base this week with a massive welcome home party on Thursday night.

We’re moving our infamous Subliminal + Friends party up from it’s usual Thursday night home of Arkadia for the night, to mighty sister venue LIV on Miami Beach.

Erick’s last date in the city, was a legendary early morning session at Space so the local crowd know exactly what to expect – pure dancefloor mayhem – and are ready to give their man a suitably loud/wild/enthusiastic/Miami-style reception!

As September starts to wind the frenzy of summer down slightly, you won’t find us taking our foot off the pedal over at Subliminal Invasion! First up on this night was Subliminal’s own DJ/producer star Denis the Menace. He just played an awesome set, dropping a bit of old and new and featuring some big hits from the Subliminal back catalogue (why by the way has just started to go up on YouTube too!)

Next up our resident of the year, Chuckie. He has amazed everyone this year, including me, and this was a great way to give him a fitting send off for our 2011 season. He set the mood lovely for the head honcho himself, Erick Morillo. He’s been playing some of the best sets this summer here at Pacha and again he had the dancefloor in a trance. Meanwhile Sunnery and Ryan, Mark Netto and Paty Eto from Setme free all squeezed into the DJ booth and we had some more of the most beautiful women on the island with us. But what do you expect?

17 Sep – Fabrik, Madrid

This is by far my favourite club in Madrid! What can you say about a 10,000 person venue, a booming system and the most amazing dancers you will ever see? Erick rocked up to the booth to see his long-time friend Fonzi smashing the dance floor. It’s always nice to see Erick smiling with his friends. Let me not fail to mention Roman F (or he will just kill me). This was just amazing night of music with some of the most energetic fans we’ve seen this summer. Erick smashed again and I had no doubt this night would be epic. Once you take a look at the photos (particularly of those sexy dancers) you will agree! Special thanks to Mat and the whole entire crew at Fabrik. I can’t wait to be back…

Wow! This has to go down in the Guinness Book of World Records in Portugal! Over 40,000 people on a beach, all to see their hero Erick “More” Morillo! I walked up to the stage and all I could see was a sea of people in front and they were just having a ball! Erick walked on stage to hear some great body and soul music played by Joe Claussell. Then it was Erick’s turn and I mean it when I say he ripped it up tonight. He played a bit of everything. When he dropped Seven Nation Army the crowd went crazy! What an amazing night and one for the record books.

31 Aug – Pacha, Ibiza

As August comes to an end, the Subliminal Invasion is still going strong every week at Pacha. Tonight we had an epic evening in store for our loyal fans. First up our boy Eddie Thoneick just destroyed the dance floor, playing anthems only he knows how to play. Next up, our resident of the year: The Dirty Dutch man Chuckie. He has been proving all summer that he has the tunes and energy to keep the dance floor in a roar.

Then head invader Erick Morillo played his best set of the summer. I kid you not that people are still texting me that it the was the best set played by Erick all year. I have to agree with them. Everyone went home very happy at 7am. We had a few notables stop by including my friend Reboot, the amazing Skin (her collaboration with Erick is out very soon…) and all the sexy ladies that somehow sneak past me into the DJ booth.

01 Sep – Lavo NYC

No time to rest! As soon as out gig was over at Pacha we went straight to Ibiza airport and hopped on a plane, crossed the pond and landed in NYC. Erick was playing a surprise set at Lavo NYC. Erick rocked up to the DJ booth to find his boys Sunnery and Ryan rocking the dancefloor. Erick played an awesome set with a little treat from Shawnee Taylor singing her smash hit ‘Stronger’ too. Everyone was in attendance and this was just an amazing ‘secret’ night. Erick then passed the reigns over to Markus Shultz who I say kept the vibe going strong! Special thanks to Noah and the whole Lavo group for making this a memorable evening.

03 Sep – South Pionte, The Hamptons

We drove about 2 hours outside Manhattan and made our way to The Hamptons. This was a small intimate venue with some the most sexiest women to date. Erick walked into the booth to this time find his childhood friend Jason Ojeda rocking the dance floor. Erick took over and just kept the existing good vibe going. I could not stop watching all the champagne popping all over the place. This was a very good night with some of best people in NYC all in one room.

04 Sep – Tao, Las Vegas

This has to be my favourite night in Las Vegas. This where it all started for Erick over 6 years ago! Tao was sold out weeks ago so I knew this would be an epic evening. Our friend Jez Pereira warmed up the dancefloor and he did an amazing job. Now for the boss man. Erick played his amazing ‘Subliminal Experience’ visuals, to which the crowd went ballistic. Right from the moment he played “Erick Morillo Is In The House” I knew we were in store for a huge night. Let me just mention a few people that stopped by: Pete Tong, Kaskade, Dirtysouth, Chuckie, Sebastian Inagrosso, Afrojack and Paris Hilton. At one point my DJ booth was sooooo nutz.

It was just great to see everyone having an amazing time. I can’t stop thinking about how much love Erick was getting from his peers and his fans. Also Erick broke the record set by himself and played till 10am! A 10-hour set! This was by far the best party of summer to date. Special thanks Jason, Noah, Omar, James and the entire crew at Tao. See you next year!

07 Sep – Pacha, Ibiza

As September roles in we gave everyone a special treat. Basement Jaxx and my favorites Sneaky Sound System on the same bill. SSS played an amazing set with lovely voice of Connie singing some of her great production this summer. Next came the Jaxx, who really have a sound all to their own. You either love it or you don’t – and from the crowd’s reaction, they love it.

Next up Erick Morillo coming straight off the back of an amazing weekend in the States. Erick kept the energy going and I will say Erick, you’re the man and I have nothing but respect for the way you play your records! Special thanks to all the ladies and fans that keep coming every Wednesday. We’ve got 3 Ibiza parties left this summer – hope to see all of you out here at one of them…

13 Aug – Extrema Festival, Belgium

This was the first time Extrema landed in Belgium so we were very excited to be a part of it. We landed and immediately noticed it was completely pouring with rain. No need to be concerned though, Erick was headlining the event and no rain nor sleet can prevent Erick from making his fans happy.

What amazing time we had here. Everyone was dancing and grooving and I must say these fans were very energetic and no matter the conditions! I know everyone had an amazing time. Big ups to Nicky Romero for stopping by and showing us some love. Special thanks to Bas and his amazing crew.

13 Aug – Muretto, Venice

We jumped in the jet and then onto a water taxi for the second gig of the day. I was amped up to return to Muretto as I simply knew it was going to be nuts. As we rocked up to the DJ booth the whole place was jumping and for good cause. Our friend and resident DJ Guiseppe was just lacing the crowd with sexy tech house. What more can you ask from a man that is 62 years young and still gets the party moving?!

Erick walked into the booth and OMG! The hyped up crowd went into a total frenzy! Napoli smack smack smack Napoli smack smack smack! The energy was thru the roof! Like we all know Erick just feeds off this energy. I had some people showing off their Subliminal tattoos and one guy had Erick’s face tattooed on his forearm. Now that’s love! This was an amazing night and its one club I really look forward to returning to. Special thanks to Tito Pinto and his staff, keep up the good work!

14 Aug – Cavo Paradiso, Mykonos

This was our second time backt this amazing club in less than a month, so we knew just what to expect. Big sound and a Subliminal Invasion to remember. Erick walked in to the venue to be greeted by some of the most beloved fans out there. Again, Erick was all smiles and for good reason. So many friends were in attendance. Helen Coates, Erick manager was there with friends who just love Erick. This was another great night with many humorous moments. Yet again our head honcho played till the end, that being 8am with the sun shining down on us! Special thanks to Stathis and all that showed up. See you all next year, or in Ibiza during our final few weeks of this season.

15 Aug – Prince, Riccione

This evening was going to be massive, as Erick Morillo playing alongside Roger Snachez – what a double header! I arrived a bit earlier than usual as I wanted to hear Roger rip it up and he sure did. He gave the crowd a bit of everything before passing the reigns over to Erick. The crowd went absolutely bonkers. “Erick Morillo , Erick Morillo , Erick Morillo!” I get goose bumps all the time when I think about this evening. This was truly a memorable evening. Special thanks to Angels of Love, Roger Sanchez, Jermaine (Roger’s tour Manager) and all the fans that showed so much love!

17 Aug – Pacha, Ibiza

This night had all the makings of an epic evening with Erick Morillo and Danny Tenaglia playing together for the first time. The island was still buzzing from Danny T playing at Ushuaia the week before with Nicole Moudaber for a 100% classics party so Pacha was very busy. Andy Baxter warmed up the crowd the way a true professional would do.

Next up Mr Erick Morillo, who decided to play before Danny Tenaglia out of respect for a legend! Erick played an amazing set with a fresh vibe and set DT up lovely. Home stretch now belonged to the incomparable Danny T. He played a set that to this moment, I’m still like wowowow! Oh my god this was one of the best sets in Pacha’s history. As Danny put it, he told his story in 2hrs and he gave the fans an epic movie. Special thanks to Danny, Kevin Mchugh, Benny Soto and the whole family at Pacha and of course the fans who stayed till the end. Which was 7:20am watching a legend play from his heart for them all.

18 Aug – Country Club, Sardinia

This was our second time here and I knew from before that the hottest ladies would be out to hear Erick play. I walked into the venue and the placed was mobbed with some of the most beautiful people ever. However this venue has got to be among the hottest and most uncomfortable places we’ve ever played. It was so hot inside that I almost passed out. Erick was a true trooper and played his heart out in some of the worst conditions ever. A true professional and something I will always admire. His fans did not seem to mind though – they we’re having a great, if extremely hot and sweaty, night.

19 Aug – Le Secuderie, Calabro, Italy

This was an outdoor event, smack in the middle of a park. You can’t even imagine how many Italians knew my name?! I guess they follow me on Facebook. Erick was escorted to the stage by Enzino and they were cracking jokes as always. Erick started his with his new track with Craig David, ‘Get Drunk Up’, and the crowd could not get enough! The laser show was absolutely amazing too. Another great show put together by Angels of Love.

20 Aug – Dolce Vita, Salerno, Italy

This has to be one of my favourite places of the summer. Picture this: on a beach, full moon, 10,000 screaming Italians and girls skinny-dipping in the ocean! Erick was escorted to the stage and all I can say is that the stage shook from the crowds reaction to the arrival of the man of the hour. People were wearing Erick Morillo t-shirts, others were waving the Colombian flag. I think people know if you bring that flag, Erick will sign it. This was another great show to end the summer with. Angels of Love, I’m gonna miss you guys. I can’t wait to see you all next summer for more amazing parties…

24 Aug – Pacha, Ibiza

This summer has been amazing for us on Wednesdays. We’ve had so much talent and tonight would be no different. First up our boy Funkagenda who I must say is such a tech guy. He was DJing using Abelton Live, 2 iPads and midi controller. What an awesome display of music and production. Next up was Subliminal’s own Harry Romero. What can you say about him? He played a very tribal set, with some vocals, just the way the fans like it.

Finally the man himself, Erick Morillo, who has been toying with some new sounds of late and also throwing in some classics that only he has in his music library. Again Erick pushed the limits and wrapped it up at 7:20am! A few notables stopped by including the Brazilian soccer champ Ronaldo and of course all the beautiful ladies. Special thanks to all that showed up and remember, you guys are the ones that keep that party going!

25 Aug – Gotha Club, Cannes, France

From the moment we arrived at this hot new Cannes club I kept say to myself wow, wow, WOW! This place was full of such sexy people! Erick walked in and the big intro began. The club went crazy and Erick feeds off that energy. He played an amazing set and with good reason. He’s been doing his homework! The dancers here this evening were some of the sexiest women I’ve seen this year. The sound system was improved in the booth so my ears are still ringing. We had our own Helen Coates visiting us again. Helen, I had a great time with you! Special thanks to the entire crew at Gotha, especially Midori!

Unfortunately the voice of house music, Shawnee Taylor, hasn’t been able to make it to Ibiza tonight after illness, flight problems and New York’s storms all conspired against her, but that voice will no doubt be singing out across Pacha’s soundsystem regardless. Erick Morillo’s 11th summer residency at Pacha in Ibiza is very much in full swing now, and when he’s not flying around Europe (hold tight Italy this weekend!) our man has been based in his villa on the island since June.

However the house music lovers of Miami are already making preparations for welcoming him back to his winter home in fine style – with a massive party, of course.

Tickets are already flying out for the event, to be held on October 6th, which sees our weekly Subliminal + Friends party transfer from it’s usual home of Arkadia for the night, to the mighty LIV club next door on Miami Beach.

And as it will have been months since Erick’s last date in the city, where he ripped the terrace at Space into pieces from dawn to lunchtime, this is one of the most anticipated homecomings in Miami in 2011.

Danny Tenaglia is renowned for being ‘the DJ’s DJ’ so it’s not just the clubbers who are looking forward to coming to hear him play at our party later.

“I’ve been looking forward to tonight’s special party with the one and only Danny Tenaglia all summer,” says Erick. “I was so pleased when we managed to book him for Subliminal Invasion at Pacha this year.”

He continues, “The two of us don’t get to play together much, but we both have a long history in the same locations – from Ibiza to New York and Miami, so I know this is going to be a party for all the real house music lovers. Danny seems even more excited about tonight than me, so the energy is gonna be off the scale!”

We left our Ibiza base and ‘crossed the pond’ back to the States for our monthly residency at Marquee. We knew this would be an amazing show – it always is! Erick was escorted to the club after doing an interview with MTV Mexico (so keep your eyes out for that interview).

As always Erick opens up with a BOOM. The crowd was very much into this evening. A lot hands in the air and camera flashes. Friends including Behrouz, Vangee and Val stopped by to say hello. If you don’t who I mean by Val, he is the brain behind V-Moda headphones. As always, Vegas has the best eye candy (sexy ladies) wherever you care to look and the Marquee visuals compete with your attention making this such a spectacle all round. We’re back in Vegas for Labor Day Weekend at Tao. See you there…

07 Aug – Surf Club, NJ

With no sleep at all we jumped onto our next flight and crossed America. Next stop the Jersey Shore. We landed at Newark and jumped into a chopper that flew across all the traffic below. Having had no rest since Vegas, Erick rocked up to the DJ booth and played an amazing set. I just don’t know where he finds all that energy, but the wild enthusiasm of the crowd is easy to feed off. Let me tell you something, this crowd was so animated! The fists were pumping in the air, everyone chering. I have to admit I love these type of clubs. This summer has been exhausting one so far, but after this show it feels well worth the lack of sleep. Special thanks to Rob Fernandez and Lou B. You guys always throw an awesome party!

10 Aug – Pacha, Ibiza

I’ve been waiting for this night for a long time now. The return of both Sneaky Sound System and Basement Jaxx on the same bill, plus our friends from Pacha NYC celebrating their 5th year. The island is in full swing and the Invasion has already well and truly taken over.

First up came Basement Jaxx who have been just killing it for us lately and their vibe is just sexy. Next up SSS – I can’t say enough about how sexy and sultry Connie is. She just has amazing voice and a stage presence that only hers. They had the crowd moving and shaken their asses!

Head invader Erick Morillo has been having an amazing season every Wednesday here. His music selection and his loops and accas are just so on point. All I can say to the young practice makes perfect. Erick Morillo is living proof of it. The masses of tweets and Facebook comments we get after every show proves how many people owe their DJing or clubbing exploits to our main man. And with his ‘Stronger’ anthem, the Subliminal Invasion mix and all the singles coming out on Subliminal right now, Pacha on Wednesdays feels like the home of house music.

Jul 20 – Pacha, Ibiza

Tonight the Invasion begins with our own Jose Nunez playing some of his big anthems and secret tracks not yet released on Subliminal. He had the club grooving and most of all he set the tempo perfectly for the night.

Kaskade is one of my most favorite American producers and he stayed true to form. He played vocals and his famous track ‘Angel on my Shoulder’ before head invader Erick Morillo took over. His sets have been so on point this summer, and there were plenty of vocals in the mix tonight. By 7am everyone who was left was beaming at another classic Subliminal Wednesday in Pacha.

Jul 21 – W Club, Athens, Greece

What a sexy VIP club this was. I mean, where else do they even know the tour managers name? Yes as I walked in, people were yelling my name all over the place! Here in Athens the woman are amazing!

Now this was our first time here in Athens in a very long time. Also it was the first time Erick had played this particular venue, so everyone was very excited. Erick walked into the club and the crowd went ballistic.

Sparklers were lit, air horns were being used, a huge Erick Moriilo banner was opened. Erick turned to me and said “wow they are real noisy!” I have to agree and this night continued amazing from start to finish. Special thanks to everyone that showed up and W club for putting together an evening Erick and I will not forget.

Jul 22 – Rock in Rome, Rome, Italy

It’s always a great experience when we work with Angels of Love. Today would be no different, with Erick playing alongside Jamiroquai on the giant stage at Rock in Rome. Let me tell you this place was rammed with at least 10,000 people by 10pm. Jamiroquai’s performance was amazing and he had the crowd in a trance. A tough act to follow as Erick Tweeted just before he was about to go on. He needn’t have worried though, the crowd was chanting his name. He dropped ‘Stronger’ and everyone is catching on to this now, creating a vibe that will be spoken about for months to come. Special thanks to Angels Of Love, Peppe,Rosario and Enzino.

Jul 23 – Tsunami, Sardinia, Italy

This was my first time in Sardinia, so I was very excited to see the venue, which was an intimate outdoor nightclub with a big room sound and plenty of VIPs. As Erick was escorted to the gig you could see he had his game face on. He played an amazing set and all I keep hearing is that Erick is the man when it comes to house music. I must agree, no one can touch Erick when he’s on fire like this. Special thanks again to Angel of Love. You keep the party rocking!

Jul 24 – Cavo Paradiso, Mykonos

This was Erick’s first time back at this famous venue in over 7 years and we were very excited to see the new upgrades. One thing was instantly clear – the sound system was the biggest upgrade. This place was jammed packed with the some of the most eager fans I’ve seen. Erick walked into the booth and it was just an awesome sight to see all the fans yell and go nuts. Even the promoter Stathis was choked up as his hero had returned to where he belonged in his eyes. This is a proper exciting club with VIP and a massive pool on the dancefloor. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knew the words to ‘Stronger’ here. One of the highlights of the event was the sunrise – just amazing. What can I say I have the most amazing job in the world. Special thanks to Stathis and his amazing staff at Cavo Paradiso.

Jul 27 – Pacha, Ibiza

Back from jetting around Europe all week we were at our home Pacha Ibiza. As we enter August tonight the line-up was immense. First up was Markus Binapfl who just rocked it the only way he know how. Must say Markus I loved that fedora you are wearing too! Next up was Subliminal resident Chuckie. He has amazed me this year. He just knows how to read a crowd, playing some amazing tunes that Dirty Dutch sound which is contagious. Chuckie you’re killing it!

The Erick Morillo finished things off. What can I say about the boss after a solid week of amazing gigs? Just that he continues to surprise with his musical selection – every night has a different flavour, he doesn’t let the clubbers down. Again all the beautiful ladies were in the house. There’s one who caught my eye – she knows who she is!

Jul 28 – Gotha Club, Cannes, France

This was our first time at this new venue in Cannes, which has been pulling in the biggest name DJs in the world since it opened and has a very sexy, VIP-driven vibe. You have LED lights streaming through the entire club. Erick entered the venue and people were screaming “Live Your Life!”. Erick continues to play like a legend each night and his smile captivates everyone in the room. We had some amazing dancers this evening (I can’t stop thinking of one). Amazing energy and love in Cannes.

Jul 29 – Via Notte, Corsica, France

Ohhhh myyyy oood!!! I can’t get enough of DJ Dove. I always love to come here. The energy is through the roof and the girl dancers are ridiculous so I knew we were in for a big night. Erick was hushed like a prize fighter. The crowd was parted and there you see Erick walking into his ring… the DJ booth. They had just installed a new sound system and it was unreal!

Jul 30 – Expofacic, Leiria, Portugal

Billboards were up all over Portugal as Erick Morillo and James Blunt were in concert together. This event was sold out for weeks. I arrived to hear James Blunt singing his big hits and he had all the ladies singing along with him. I’m still getting chills thinking about when everyone lit their lighters and raised their cell phones. Erick rocked up the stage and a big roar let loose by all the fans. Erick played “Stronger” everyone sang along.

Even James Blunt came out to say hello to Erick and the crowd let out another roar. There were over 20,000 people in attendance and all of them seemed to have a great night. This was by far the biggest music event of it’s kind in Portugal in a very long time. Special thanks to Jose Manso for bringing us out here. James Blunt Im now a bigger fan!

As our summer in Ibiza reaches boiling point, Subliminal Invasion has been going off at Pacha every Wednesday night. Basement Jaxx and our friends from Pacha NYC join us at the next party. Ibiza, let’s go!

Celebrating the launch of Erick’s Subliminal Invasion CD this week, we have Harry Choo Choo Romero, the man behind many of the killer tracks and remixes on the 27-track double mix.

Subliminal invades Wednesday night yet again with residents Basement Jaxx making sure the Pacha dancefloor was packed out. They crushed the place, dropping a little bit of everything. One track that stands out was Duck Sauce ‘The Big Bad Wolf’, which had the crowd howling! It was so funny to see that happen.

Next up was Eddie Thoenick who you all know from his amazing tracks with Erick on Subliminal. He played a high energetic set with hands-up-in-the-air anthems, and we had a special treat too as Shawnee Taylor came on stage and performed ‘Live Your Life’ and the smash summer hit ‘Stronger’.

Everyone now is learning the chorus, which makes it that more memorable. Head invader Erick Morillo stepped up and pleased everyone. July 14: Wakeup Beach Party – Lisbon, Portugal

It was a full moon tonight, so I just knew this had the makings of an epic evening! This party was held on a beach, but with the dancefloor fully enclosed. However, the giant big top was completely see-through so you could star gaze and be captivated by the full moon. It was also jammed packed with over 2,500 crazed fans and with good reason – it’s been a while since Erick played Lisbon.

Erick rocked up to the stage all smiles as usual. He started his set with a mighty acca “my name is ERICK MORILLO” – the crowd went crazy! It was another amazing night of some of the finest house music you can imagine. All I can say is that Mr. Morillo is on fire! We had Portugal’s own Pete tha Zouk and Pedro Casanova stop by to say hello. Special thanks to Jose Manso and the whole crew. Can’t wait to be back in Portugal at the end of August.

This was an exciting weekend – our nation was celebrating its Independence Day, so we ‘crossed the pond’ and made the 12-hour journey from our summer base in Ibiza to America. There are plenty of people who say Las Vegas is the US answer to Ibiza, and when we arrived the place was certainly in full party mode. Out of the frying pan into the fire then!

This was the incredible Marquee club’s first Independence weekend (you might remember it opened on New Year’s eve, with one Erick Morillo at the helm…) and this was one of their busiest nights so far. It was rammed and so many people were wearing red, white and blue showing off their patriotism. The stage was all set for one hellava party.

Our boys from Amsterdam Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano were in the house. They played an amazing set. SEXY SEXY SEXY! That’s all I have to say. There was a big reaction for their showstopping new tune ‘Tribeca’ too. It’s out next Tuesday on Subliminal Records, so get ready to download it. It’s also on Erick’s forthcoming Subliminal Invasion mix CD, so this is certainly becoming another tune of the summer.

We had set up an amazing, extra special intro for Erick which blew the house way… just like the set that followed it. I’m still getting text messages saying that Erick’s was the best set Marquee has ever heard. Now that’s saying something, especially if you’ve seen the line up’s they’ve had this year!

We had the most beautiful women come and say hello to Erick and I must say the women in Vegas are by far the most fun in America. Special thanks go out to the crew at Marquee and of course all the fans that showed their love that night. What a great party.

July 3rd – Space, Miami

Next stop Miami! As we were waiting to board our flight we spotted a roll call of DJs making their way to play in Miami as well. Hello Avicii and Sydney Samson. Fans were taken snaps of Erick and the guys and it’s always nice to see excited fans walking away with a smile.

I love Space as it’s a place for the masses who truly enjoy house music. Erick was escorted to the Terrace at 4am and before he even took over the decks the crowd was chanting ER-ICK! ER-ICK! ER-ICK! Wow, they show Erick a lot of love here in Miami.

It’s magical on the Terrace and when Erick’s on fire nobody can touch him. This was a night and day to remember… Erick played until 12 midday! It was an amazing show, one everyone will talk about for months. Twitter went nuts with pictures and excitable comments throughout the morning. Avicii stopped by and said he couldn’t believe the energy on the dancefloor. Special thanks to all that showed up and stayed till the end in the sunshine. Space you are one of the best clubs in the world!

July 7th – Pacha, Ibiza

As June fades away, July comes in with a bang! The island is buzzing and we had some big guys opening up for Erick. First up was Jason Herd and he killed it. He played a few of his hits new and old on Subliminal and the crowd was just moving. Next up was John Dahlback and I just love this guy’s sound. His track ‘Flirt’ is still one of my favourites on Subliminal this year.

Head Invader Erick was next and his style this year has been less commercial and more what I’d call REAL house music. He has been a teacher for many of the DJs coming up at the moment and this was another lesson in how to rock a floor.

Sebastian Ingrosso and Usher stopped by to say hello. Usher has been one of my favourite R&B artists ever, so having him in the DJ booth was an honour. There were so many girls in the DJ booth too! I can’t think why, but Subliminal Wednesdays is the best night to find the honnies.

Erick again pushed the limits and wrapped it all up around 7:05am but even then people kept chanting “one more! One more!” See you this Wednesday for another Subliminal Invasion. Win a pair of tickets here.

Then Sunday Erick moves on to Miami, where his apearance at Space is the highlight of an action packed party weekend for everyone headed for the beach. The last Terrace session here was completely wild, and Erick can’t wait to rock his home crowd for the first time in months.

22 June: Pacha, Ibiza

We had another awesome line up this evening, starting with our very own Antranig. If you don’t know who he is, he is the mastermind behind some huge tracks on Subliminal’s dirty dark sister label Sondos.

Antranig – Back That Up by Subliminal Records

He played a very sexy set and had the dancefloor totally grooving before Norman Doray came on and all I can say is, “wow!” He played some tunes I’ve never heard and his style behind the decks was top notch. He did a trick that I will just say was sick!

Next up head honcho and Subliminal invader himself Erick Morillo. He started his set with a flying saucer, space ship effect provided by Antranig. Then followed by dropping ‘Stronger’ and the crowd went ballistic! Erick has showed me so far this year his knowledge of music is unparalleled to none!

Again we had some notables in the booth, including Felix Da Housecat who paid us a visit with about 15 girls in tow. (If you follow Twitter, you’ll know that Erick took Felix, Deadmau5 and a load of others took a boat trip to the neighbouring island of Formentera this week, which was a load of fun.) Combine with our dancers, Subliminal is hands down the hottest place on the island for stunning girls!

25 June: Extrema Festival, Oslo, Norway

This was my first time in Oslo so I was very excited to see what this city was all about and this big midsummer festival too. As I rocked up to the stage all you could see was heads bopping up and down. Our boys Sunnery & Ryan were rocking it, dropping their forthcoming Subliminal single ‘Tribeca’ to huge effect (it’s out July 19th).

Erick arrived a bit early to get a bird’s eye view. He told me “Manny, are you ready?” We looked out and everyone was making a dash for Erick’s stage. Armin van Burren’s set was about to end and everyone was there to see them booth.

Erick’s sets are amazing at festivals, being more of an upbeat tempo, and from crowd reactions it was well received. We had some of the sexiest dancers around up there with us. One showed me her tattoo and it read ‘bite me’. Oh, and it was tattooed inside her lip… I think she was serious! This was an amazing experience and one I will not forget. Special thanks to Bas and the whole family at Extrema. Can’t wait to be back next summer with all the fans.

26 June – Bazar, Marseilles, France

We arrived early in Marseille and I must say this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Weather was amazing and the beaches were packed! This was unique venue as it had a huge patio. Perfect for a beach town. This Sunday night event was sold out for weeks even though there was no holiday on Monday.

As night came, this town always turns into a very happening spot. As I was driven to the venue there were traffic jams everywhere, a total road block to see Erick Morillo. Erick arrived a bit early to get a vibe of the place. When it was his turn the crowd was screaming “live your life!” Erick was smashing it and all of the sudden the power shut off! It was bit funny when it happened because Erick was about to play an old song called ‘I Got The Power ‘. I guess Erick called it!

The problem was resolved quickly and the party kept rocking. I would like to say a special thanks to the sound engineer and the whole family at Bazar. You guys did an amazing job and I look forward to working with you all soon. To all the fans that showed up and put up with all the heat, thank you for all your love and support!

15 Jun 2011 – Pacha, Ibiza

Erick had been in London for one day to record the forthcoming Subliminal Invasion mix – keep an eye on Subliminalrecords.com for more info on that – coming soon! He returned ready to bring the invading force to Pacha for week 3 of our season.

The island was buzzing with the opening of Pacha’s new venture, Lio. It’s a high end restaurant and beautiful club in the amazing setting that used to be El Divino, but after a multi-million dollar re-fit you’d hardly recognise the place. Let me not fail to mention it was Francisco Ferrer’s birthday bash. He’s one of the top dogs at Pacha, so everyone was in fine mood.

I walked into Pacha and the place was booming. Jose Nunez played an awesome set and the crowd was so enthusiastic. The bigwigs from equipment manufacturer Pioneer were al at the club, and they were really happy to meet Jose after his set to speak to such an accomplished DJ/producer. He knows Ibiza so well he was really happy to be back. All he keeps talking to me about is “…we need to go eat at Cami de Balafia, they have the best tomatoes there!”

Next up on the night were Azari & III, who have a unique sound all to their own. This was their first ever date in Ibiza and they were so amped to be part of such a big night on the island. By the look of the crowd, they will be back many times more.

Erick started his set with a boom. He had so much energy and it transfered out onto the dance floor. Meanwhile we had plenty of friends come by to say hello. Phil Cheeseman from Strictly Rhythm and our radio guru James Jackson, plus Duane Harden who is such a funny guy. He always smacks Erick’s bum really hard. Tiesto is starting to become the poster child of our night too!

Harry Choo Choo Romero – Overdose (Original Mix) by Subliminal Records

Harry’s new joint on Bambossa, ‘Overdose’ was a massive hit on the dancefloor. But for me, the best bit of the night was the end. So many people screaming Erick’s name, posing for pictures, getting autographs. I just love to see fans smile as they walk away from shaking Erick’s hand.

June 4th: Adria Music Conference, Croatia

I was very excited about this gig as we brought along our man Eddie Thoneick and planned to shoot the video for Erick and Eddie’s new summer banger, ‘Stronger’ live at the party. (Keep an eye out for that soon and if you were there you might find yourself in it!)

Eddie is such a character that having him on board our plane over from Ibiza was a pleasure. I love how cracks jokes on Nick our cameraman too. The real funny part was that he needed to use the bathroom so badly. I kept offering him water!

As we were escorted to the venue all you could see was a sea of people. The legendary Reverend Run from Run DMC was DJing and had the crowd completely pumped! He also had a few words for Erick. He told him to please keep doing what he does. So many young kids love him and that he needs to be their hero and love them back. And sure enough, Erick played an amazing set after that pep-talk. The crowd was so energetic and you know Erick always feeds off that energy.

The ladies in Croatia are some of the most beautiful women on the planet, I’m sure you will not disagree from our photos. When Erick dropped ‘Stronger’ it was off the hook. Eddie joined Erick on stage and our visuals looked amazing on the LED wall. We were able to get some great footage for our video in Croatia. It was an amazing turn out by the crowd and Reverend Run you still got it man. A true pioneer of hip hop!

June 8th: Pacha, Ibiza

Head for the hills! Subliminal Invades Ibiza yet again. For our second night of the season we were all really hyped as our new residents for 2011, Basement Jaxx, were going to be in the house. Erick is a big fan of these legends. The island was still buzzing from our opening party. Word has it, if you want to see the hottest girls, come to Subliminal on a Wednesday.

Our boy Carl Kennedy crushed it at the pre-party as Café Mambo. He has a bit of a new sound this year, what I’d like to call sexy! He kicked things off at Pacha too had the whole dance floor rocking and I mean rocking.

Basement Jaxx rocked up to the booth and told me they were so excited. They came fully prepared with about 3 show books, so I knew this would be a great night of music. And they turned the crowd inside out! Can’t wait to hear them again (they’re back for us next on July 13th.) as it looks like they are really getting into their stride with the Subliminal vibe.

By the time Erick was ready to play the dancefloor was insane, when Erick started his set all the lights went out. So all you could see were all the headbands we passed out. It was so amazing to watch. Subliminal regular Tiesto dropped by and said, and I quote “Erick is the best!” Can’t say fairer than that.

Erick played another awesome set and pushed the limits to play until about 7:07am which normally they never allow us. I guess you can say a 14 year residency says something these days! Ibiza you better get ready, Subliminal Invasion is here to stay this summer.

Erick prepared for the night by listening to new music in his villa, before heading down to our first Official Pre-Party at Cafe Mambo in San Antonio. He was joined behind the decks in the infamous sea-front DJ booth by this summer’s new Subliminal resident, Chuckie.

After some serious fun hyping up the crowds that had come down to warm up the party as the sun went down, Erick went for dinner with Chuckie and tonight’s other headliners, Harry Choo Choo Romero and Shawnee Taylor.

It’s always a treat be back on the White Island. For me, there’s an energy here that I can’t describe. So by the time we got to Pacha the excitement was really building, and one look at that seething mass of party people on the main room dancefloor let us all know we were in for a big Opening night.

Harry expertly brought the energy up before Chuckie smashed it – his Dirty Dutch sound is a perfect marriage with Erick’s sexy house and accas. With the sexy Pacha dancers doing their thing and the terrace packed with people taking a breather from the insanity inside, Pacha was at full pelt by the time Erick got on the mic and introducer Shawnee, singing ‘Stronger’ to kickstart our summer with the track that is all set to rule it.

‘Live Your Life’ was a massive singalong moment with the Subliminal faithful, as Erick threw out UV headbands to the crowd. It was so wicked to see every one wearing them or twirling them around in the air. As long as we can supply the demand we will pass them out every Wednesday.

Then me and Harry grabbed the confetti cannons and launched Erick’s set with explosive style! For the next few hours Pacha was a scene to behold. It feels good to be home and we’re so hyped about the weeks ahead too.

I love our new theme. It just makes sense. We have so many accomplished producers and DJs signed to Subliminal. This year Subliminal will invade every dance floor, one way or another. If you are coming to Ibiza, you know where the best party is at…

It’s been a while since we visited Chi Town. The streets were buzzing this evening as the Chicago Bulls were in town… along with Mr Erick Morillo, of course. Tickets were sold for weeks in advance for Erick’s return combined with the holiday weekend and by the looks of the line outside this was going to be a memorable evening.

Erick rocked up to the stage all smiles as usual. The crowd just roared for their hero, with so many Colombians showcasing their flags, waving them with pride and doing anything they could to have Erick sign them. We had a special performance from Shawnee Taylor who sang a lovely set. I must say ‘Stronger’ is going to be the song of the summer. Special thanks go out to Dino and all of Chi Town for their loving support.

May 27: El Paso, Texas

This was our first time in El Paso, so we were excited to see how the house music scene has evolved here. As we approached the venue the line was down the block. Fans of all ages were wearing their Erick Morillo t-shirts with pride. Erick was escorted to the stage and this crowd was chanting Morillo Morillo Morillo, so clearly El P knows EM!

Erick did not disappoint the ones who drove for hours to hear him play. He dropped some fresh new tunes on Subliminal for the first time which sounded great. At the end of the show Erick hung out and took pictures with his eager fans. Some girls were in tears after they took a picture with Erick. One yelled “I finally can die now!” Now that I never heard before. Special thanks to Raul and all those fans. See you again soon.

May 29: Tao, Las Vegas

This is where it all started for Erick in Vegas. Tao was celebrating 5 years of throwing Morillo Madness parties on Memorial Day weekend. These have grown bigger and bigger as word has spread about how good they are. Vegas is now the hottest place in the world for DJs – it seemed like every DJ you could mention was in town, but arguably it all started here 5 years ago, so this was history in the making…

The outside of Tao therefore was a scene of total chaos and the inside was no different! I mean, this place was at capacity by 11:30pm! As Erick hit the DJ booth the Tao girls held up the famous M-O-R-I-L-L-O signs and the confetti canons exploded. The siren went off the crowd was jumping up and down hyped by this amazing intro. I’m getting goose bumps thinking about it.

Erick played his heart out and lets not fail to mention he played all night through until 9am. Phew! Special thanks to Jason, Noah and the whole family at Tao. Let’s do another 5 years together…

Next stop? Where else but Ibiza, for the whole season of Subliminal Invasion. Diary from the wild opening party coming very soon…

Back in 2007 Erick played at the Asian themed Tao nightclub in Las Vegas on Memorial Day Weekend for the first time. Who would have known the tradition it was about to become…

Now in its 5th year, and pulling in 7000 clubbers (as opposed to ‘a mere’ 1000 that first year, Erick Morillo MDW party at Tao is one of the clubbing highlights of the year.

With Vegas now firmly at the heart of club culture in the USA, this gig remains the big one among big ones.

Erick says, “My Vegas love affair all started with TAO and the Memorial day weekend party has become a summer kick-off institution. We really jump started the entire house music revolution here that is now exploding in Vegas today and it’s really special to come back to play again for their 5 year anniversary.”

This was our second time in Bratislava and we were expecting a big turn out. I rocked up to the venue and sure enough this place was packed! The venue looked like a huge concert and the stage was sick. Erick’s appearance had the crowd yelling “ERICK, ERICK, ERICK” immediately and he proceeded to play an amazing set for them.

The whole place looked like they were in a total trance with Erick. And let me not fail to mention all the hot dancers that I for one could not stop starring at. Big thanks to all the loyal fans for showing up and making this a memorable evening.

30 April: Bier Garten, Palermo Sicily

I love Italy. There’s no place in the world that brings this much enthusiasm like the Italians do! The town was buzzing as it has been a long time since Erick Morillo has played in Sicily. There was a traffic jam for miles on the approach to the venue and inside was no different, this placed was packed. Erick was escorted to the DJ booth and the crowd chanted “Napoli! Napoli! Napoli!” which was funny as we were in Sicily. These guys travel – see you in Ibiza all summer Napoli crew!

This crowd was every DJ’s dream. They screamed, they sang with Erick, people were typing on their iPhone ‘Erick Morillo: The KING’. It was off the scale. Erick played an amazing set. Vocals, dark, sexy and progressive all mixed up, including the new Harry Choo Choo joint (below). This was night I don’t think the fans will forget any time soon.

The following official statement has been released by the Erick Morillo Management Team:

Due to unexpected personal circumstances we regret that Erick Morillo will be cancelling all tour dates between May 5 – 23. Erick sends his apologies to those expecting to see him during this period and hopes to make it up to them soon.

The dates effected are: Glo, Long Island (6th), Marquee Las Vegas (7th), LIV Miami (13th), Le Palais, Cannes (20th), Fabrik, Madrid (21st) and Opium Mar, Barcelona (22nd).

Our weekly Subliminal + Friends parties in Miami will happen as planned, featuring guests MyBack this Thursday and Sultan & Ned Shepard next. More info.

Today we are more than excited to announce the theme for Erick Morillo’s summer of weekly parties in Ibiza…

Subliminal Invasion will see the island’s legendary Pacha nightclub become a space age, otherworldly intergalactic paradise each and every Wednesday night from June 1st to September 28th.

Expect Subliminal Space vixens, mind-blowing sci-fi visuals and the biggest names in house music on this or any other planet.

“It’s really all about getting lost in space and enjoying the trip,” says Erick. “Creating somewhere you literally forget about everything else. That’s why the theme is Subliminal Invasion because we want people to invade the night… while we invade your mind!”

Superstar Line-ups

Erick will appear every week and will be joined by exclusive monthly resident superstars Chuckie and Basement Jaxx, plus the Subliminal team Harry Choo Choo Romero, Jose Nunez and the incomparable Shawnee Taylor providing live vocals throughout the summer.

Then expect the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Sneaky Sound System, Funkagenda, Azari and III, Antranig, Richard Grey, Jason Herd and John Dahlback gracing the decks on various weeks – full details to follow on this website soon, so you can plan your holidays perfectly.

Live Appearances

And following the unbelievable scenes last summer with surprise live appearances from the likes of P Diddy and Kelis at our Voodoo Nights themed parties, the A-list stars will be out in force for Subliminal Invasion this season too. Watch out.
